In 2019 the Mildura Rural City Council received a Drought Preparedness package from the State Government. Community Planning Officer Rhae Kendrigan collaborated with dry-land farming communities across the Mallee to identify the key challenges they are facing.
The Regenerative Communities program developed with these communities aimed to provide a fresh perspective and new ideas on how to approach community resilience in regional/rural farming communities.
The Road Trip was designed to visit each community with offering special guests tailored to their specific needs, with a central forum in Mildura featuring all guests.
